Death and Woman by Käthe Kollwitz |
He caressed her,
as the beasts caress the angels,
with the nails spouting castor,
soft and piercing
caress to the sleepy heart.
Singing lullabies,
he approaches with deceit,
weaving the blanket of oppression,
he approaches with deceit,
weaving the blanket of oppression,
with long interwoven beard
with a box of lenses
where he goes to spy from a distance,
like a predatory Sigil in the night,
looking for its prey,
its source of power...
Fearsome beast of incessant ruse,
dominating with words and fake charisma
the unsuspecting protectors...
With the plan under his arm,
he stealthily extends to the cavern where she rests...
Oh power of the gods!
those who mock,
who dare to send fearsome monsters
to the sacred places,
who dare to ruin the chaste and sacred temple...
Entering like a wild blast,
it seizes,
it impound,
violently tears,
manipulates,
and takes away...
seizes the subtle flower
and so proud of his feat,
deceives idiots who believe in his voice...
She's no longer free,
no longer enchanted,
no longer delighted,
no longer her own self...
She was destined to the days of light,
but goes out in the dark,
to the corners of silence,
so that she will never be touched again,
and there she tries,
wanting her voice back,
to sing...
She does not sleep,
the nightmare repeats
constantly
on closed eyes,
is all silent,
does not sing,
there is no rest ...
She is alone,
and alone
under the dark waters
glimpse the shadows...
and the fruit of the tear
is rotting in her entrails,
devouring the purity,
it screams,
begs,
the monstrosity collapses
and there she dies,
she fades...
the gods are mocking
fearfully,
knowing her destiny
they will perished...
the gods are mocking
fearfully,
knowing her destiny
they will perished...
In an attempt to be reborn
her skin is slaughter,
rudely skinned to believe,
returning forcely to light,
coming back to the waters
that once has sheltered her...
And there she is,
absent walker...
picking up every drop
of the salty nectar
storing it in her opened wounds
burning slowly in the bloodstream
hoping to return to the Sea...
burning slowly in the bloodstream
hoping to return to the Sea...
